Case is made of stainless steel with brush-finished lugs and high-polish finished sides. The unidirectional rotatable stainless steel bezel is equipped with a ceramic black diver's bezel insert. Screwed into the case is a stainless steel crown as well as a solid stainless steel case back. As for the oyster bracelet, it is mostly brush-finished stainless steel with the exception of the sides of the links that are high-polish finished stainless steel.

Time and date are displayed on a black dial that is accompanied by luminous hands and hour markers. This was the first Sea-Dweller model to feature a magnified date window at the 3 o'clock position.
