30mm Grande Reverso 976 80th Anniversary

Here we have a special Grande Reverso 976 that is in outstanding condition for a previously enjoyed watch. The case does have areas of mirror-like finish which are prone to hairlines (marks visible when with high resolution cameras or if angled at certain lighting). Pictures are part of the description so please refer to the pictures in determining the condition, pictures are of the exact watch being offered.

What makes this one so special is that there were only 180 pieces made worldwide in 2011 as a limited edition to celebrate the 80th anniversary for the Reverso which was introduced in 1931. JLC replaced the Arabic numeral 8 with the letter R on the dial. 

Included with the watch is a JLC travel box (original JLC presentation box is not included) and papers (includes both the original warranty certificate and the limited edition certificate). 

The case is made of stainless steel, mostly displaying a mirror finish with the exception of the case back which has a satin finish and the inner carriage that has a perlage finish. It is currently mounted on a JLC black leather strap (approximately 85% condition) and that is paired with a JLC stainless steel double-folding deployment clasp.

Time is displayed on a silver guilloche dial that is accompanied by blued hands, black Arabic numerals and a small seconds sub-dial at 6 o'clock. On the reverse side you have a sapphire crystal which allows vision to the JLC caliber 976 movement.

This watch has passed through our service center where it was first checked inside and out to certify its authenticity. After that, it passed a functionality test to confirm it is running up to manufacturer's standards and water resistant. Lastly, the serial number was run through a database to verify its legitimacy. We will issue receipts and a certificate of authenticity and test it once again prior to delivery. This watch will be backed by our in-house warranty.
